Playwright:Recent credits include Human Sacrifice, performed in the Cultura Inglesa festival in Brazil and Maya and the Whale, produced by IAP, touring with Imaginate and National Theatre of Scotland as part of the TiSS programme. Hazel was a Playwright Studio Scotland mentee 2019-20 exploring how we tell stories about Climate Breakdown with her mentor Lewis Hetherington.
Performer: Hazel has been performing theatre for over 20 years and often performs work that she has created or helped devise but also loves an opportunity for straight acting. Podcast host and producer: Hazel's podcast series include: People to People, CliMates, small small rainbows, the Porty Podcast and motherrunner podcast.
Workshop Leader: Hazel has recently created a gamified workshop called 'The Time Travelling Game' to help imagine what our future might be like living through Climate Breakdown. Other workshops she's created include What is the Artists Role in a Green Revolution? and Childcare, Climate Change and Cake!
Community Climate Action: Hazel is a driving force behind Porty Community Energy Bike Library and Active Travel Hub. She also started the Porty Community Fridge which rescues food and distributes it to 80+ families each week.
FST Mentorship programme: Hazel was previously a mentee on the Federation of Scottish Theatre’s mentorship programme.

Voice work: Hazel enjoys voice over work and has worked on a number of animations, adverts, apps and exhibitions. She has a studio set up at home.
